It was copies of r57shell, the swiss army knife of hackers, which let an attacker upload/download files, query database, etc... I am pretty sure our attacker is our previous sysadmin (I don't remember his name) from Serbia because I found some file uploaded to admin.mail.striptizmagazin.com in our old webmail software which was unfortunately still active and provided him with a convenient backdoor to our server.

Of course I disactivated all suspicious files but we may never be sure of what actions the intruder took. I checked the system for rootkits and found nothing."
