Just ordered 19 dvds in Italy.
Half of them rare anal stuff from 2000 onwards, half newer Omar and Giorgio stuff. Cant wait for them to arrive!

Bought quite a few lately, some very good but I'll give my (less enthusiastic) thoughts about this one.



She's Gonna Blow 2

Had high hopes for this POV blowjob flick (great cast, screen shots looked hot) but should have remembered my concerns with Mike Adriano in American Anal Sluts. I hate this guy, he's either lying down making the girls do all the work (not hot for me) or he has his hands all over their heads, aggressively ordering them about. And he's never done a good cumshot for 2 reasons: (1) he always dribbles disappointingly, and more importantly (2) again he has his hands all over the girl(s) head(s), making the cum shots look more like punishments than anything erotic. A terrible recent porn development that is sadly endemic now but Adriano is even worse than most with it.

Terrible film. Avoid. 2/10

I've taken the decision to pretty much avoid new porn for the foreseeable future and focus on stuff from 2000-2008-ish. I've bought a few good recent ones (F For Francesca and Huge Cock Junkies in particular) but I seem to be wasting a hell of a lot of cash on films I can't do anything with because they have all that male posturing, hands on the girls' heads, "punishment" feel to them that just kills them for me even if the girls are hot and the sex good. I wish there would be more criticism about this because it's seeped everywhere, even occasionally into Christoph's stuff because of the guys he uses. Lex Steele is maybe the 1 director I'll stay with as he seems (so far) immune.

Fortunately there's still lots of good stuff from that era to chip away at, mainly from Christoph, Private, Lex and John Leslie.

I feel basically the same.
Apart from 21S and some Italian films I dont buy much 2009/10 dvds anymore.
Somehow they dont fit my taste, there`s the annoying punishment factor, also it just too often looks like these days hard outside sex behavour is filmed to replace hard porn. For sure its cheaper fees, but definitely not my cup of tea.

Currently I am ordering a lot of dvds with nicely set anal/dp scenes of my 2002-2006 crop favorites. There are quite a few sale positions for such stuff at Xonair and others, too. Saves me lots of money and provides lots of fun.
I also still detect new girls from the past.

This is pretty great. Reminds me why I generally need some kind of storyline or "feel" to really get into a porn flick - by and large gonzo doesn't really do it for me. This flick really makes an effort. Revolves around the lead character Sandy being stranded in a grotty area of New York (I think) and witnessing loads of nasty alleyway sex and the like, inbetween time getting involved in a (very mediocre) lesbian scene. There's a fabulous gloryhole scene, which is something I've looked long and hard for but only ever ended up with trashy fodder. A couple of very eager street whore types really go at 3 anonymous big cocks and the facial cumshots are great. Terrific scene. Simony gets a gangbang which just briefly threatens to be null and void when 1 guy grips her throat/slaps her face/does all that ugly stuff etc. but thankfully it doesn't last long. Straight-to-anal scene this, poor cumshots but good up to that point. Leanne Sweet takes the best straight fuck from Bruno SX whilst dressed in a kind of schoolgirl-ish outfit. Terrific deep anal while she has 1 leg up on a wheelchair he came in on, for some reason.

As well as featuring great sex, the whole thing just feels really convincing. You genuinely get drawn into Sandy's sort of descent into sluttishness and that "good girl" shocked observer contrast gives it a very sexy edge.

From 2008 and I guess marks the point where Private gave up making great-looking, nasty storyline porn with attention-to-detail. Definitely a throwback and the kind of thing I wish was made more often and I guess reminds me why I don't generally favour current porn.

well, actually I do not like dap but I bought it for Eliska and Lioness. And I am huge fan of Rocco in general, so it is good movie!

Anyway, dap is in the title, but not important in the whole film.
Maybe good for most Rocco fans.
I was disappointed from a dap fans point of view, though. I really wish Rocco would decide not to go for the cheap way with his daps, but really deliver as he does with single anal. I guess Rocco is not a dap fan either, he just did that film to cash on the overall dap popularity. Still, certainly worth ordering and be it only for the cast.

DAP is not my thing, so I skipped that one, but maybe I'll reconsider. I also really like Lioness, and so I enjoyed her in Rocco's X-treme Gapes. That and Puppet Master 10 are my latest DVD purchases, I've enjoyed them both (Rihanna Samuel, yum!).

Speelie, Lioness is excellent in Roccos DAF! Her dap is the longest in the film, but its not too much and easy to skip if you dont like daps. Also generally the title is misleading as only 3 of those 7 girls perform dap. Overall its a good Rocco production - at least considering his newer works.

From a dap side of view, I was maybe a bit to harsh in my above comment. For sure its nice to see Rocco cares about his consumers suggestions; he does more than Christoph Clark for instance. Rocco also doenst shy away from the higher fees daps involve. Its just the cutting and maybe too much perfectionism leaving too little dap footage. Still, I do of course hope he persues his way to include more daps.

Thank you for your comments. I agree that Rocco is an excellent performer.
He is good-looking, atheletic and energetic and there is some variety in
his scenes. Years ago I bought several Rocco compilations on the German
MMV label, and I thought they were fine. For no particular reason, I never
bought an Evil Angel title. But Rocco's Double Anal Festival is a candidate.

I am kind of neutral on DAP. I do not seek titles with DAP, but I also do
not avoid them. I thought the DAPs in Jay Sin's movie "Anal Buffet 5"
were well done. But then the whole movie is very good.

True to form I've been continuing my pursuit of porn from the late 90s/early 00s and been on a total Rocco binge. I've mentioned Rocco More Than Ever 2 in the British girls thread but also snapped up a whole bunch of the True Anal Stories series. I went for nos 7, 8, 9, 11, 13, 14 & 20.

A couple of these are fairly average (7 and 9 especially) but on the whole this is great stuff. There's effort put into each scene by way of giving it some vague storyline context and the girls generally look and act very natural, which I prefer to them being sort of "porn scene ready" on set, which you get too much of these days. Also unlike current Rocco you don't get EVERY scene filmed in that St Petersburg apartment (yawn). Some of the locations here are duplicated (that warehouse has been used in at least 1 other True Anal Story then there's Nacho's place with the outdoor patio area, also a small aeroplane hanger that Christoph used for a great Cassandra Wilde gangbang in Ass Gangsters is in there) but it doesn't matter much as they're shuffled about pretty well. Slight downside for me is that Rocco is always keen to get the girls totally naked whereas I prefer skirts, bras etc. left on. However, this doesn't kill the scenes.

Standout scenes are:

Jenny in 11. She teases David Perry and some other guy in a park wearing knickers with "Please fuck my ass" on them. A bit tacky but then she's driven out to that warehouse and 5 guys go wild with her. They can't get her tits out quickly enough and she's analized hard by all. The camerawork is slightly disappointing here but it's still a great scene. The guys are really ravenous and she's clearly into it.

Caroline in 13. Nacho Vidal and some young guy pick her up on the street and take her back to the hotel. Nacho gives her a fabulous arse fuck. This girl is ultra cute and also gets more and more into the scene as it goes on, totally convincing performance. Ultra hot.

Anastasia Christ in 20. Always liked this girl but never quite had her as porn A-list. This scene is mind-blowing and has elevated her hugely in my eyes, best scene of the bunch. Leslie Taylor takes on her and a brunette girl but it's Anastasia who shines most, literally begging to be fucked hard in the arse. Leslie fires the most amazing cumshot all over her here. I think he's my favourite all-time male porn stud - always fucked hard and treated the girls with terrific respect and the girls seemed to love fucking him. Also he quit at the right time, unlike Perry, Choky Ice etc. who have become the Rolling Stones of porn guys, churning out weaker stuff as they get older, never knowing when to quit, tarnishing their legacy a bit.

Lots of other strong scenes too but those are the picks.

What I really love most about these movies is that there's a genuine enthusiasm for the sex, the guys and girls are all young(ish) and fresh, as opposed to the porn-jaded guys we see these days. It's natural, not too forced and Rocco hasn't become aggressive and bullying to the girls yet. His Animal Trainer series ruined him for me. Fine to have that rough style in a specific series but it seeped into his whole output. He couldn't find the more natural style again. He should dig out these flicks to remind himself how good he once was as he hasn't produced anything half as hot as these since about 2001 IMHO.

So I'll continue to amass the old school porn, although I doubt it'll be long before there's not too much of it left!

What about the first scene of TAS 14? With Sandra Romain, Nikki Montana, and blond Isabella (my favorite at that time). That was a standout for me.

The same DVD has Rocco, in the last scene, being quite aggressive with Mary Blond, Angel, and another girl. I mention this because I think it has almost always been an aspect of what Rocco does. The Animal Trainer movies were concurrent with the TAS ones for quite a while. At the same time as TAS 9, 11, etc., Rocco was releasing the early AT movies. But he was also releasing the Rocco's Initiations line, which were his lightest movies. Initiations 3 is classic, IMHO, and you should look it up if you don't already have it.

My point is that Rocco has always, or at least since around 1998, released a variety of movies. He has movies that are indicated to be harder/heavier, such as Animal Trainer, and that are indicated to be lighter, such as initiations. These days, he's indicated that Slutty Girls Love Rocco will be the line for his lighter movies, while Power Slave is the more intense line.

I think he strikes a balance in the Puppet Master movies, which lately have evolved into all scenes having two girls. I like that aspect, and I think PM 8-10 are full of good scenes. In PM 9, Rocco takes on Darryl Hannah and Asa Akira, and it isn't "rough" or "aggressive" yet is wonderfully intense thanks to great performances all around. FWIW.

I think you're right that there was some overlap between the lighter and rougher stuff even back then but it just seemed he went down 1 specific route at some point in the early 2000s. And even if you take out the rough aspect, you can't deny that that there was much more attention-to-detail to the scenes back then, the male actors (including Rocco himself) were younger and more virile and the films just seemed to have a level of exuberance that I guess it is simply difficult to maintain over many years. There must come a point where you become like "OK so which hot girl am I fucking in all holes today?" with an element of seen-it-all-before boredom. His films now just have the same locations, the same (old) guys and little or no scene set-ups. They just lack spontaneity and excitement IMHO.

I do think that period (about 98-03) was a high porn watermark. Maybe I'm eulogising it because I was younger then too and VHS/DVD hardcore porn was very new to me but it did seem like even though there were many fewer titles out there than now, the good:poor ratio was considerably higher. I could generally only afford 1 title a month back then and of course bought the occasional duffer but more often than not chanced upon a winner. These days with the great prices via the web and slightly more money to burn, I'm able to buy 4 or so (on average) DVDs a month but am lucky if each batch produces 1 keeper when I buy new titles.

That Sandra/Nikki scene isn't bad but wasn't quite the sum of its parts for me. 2 great performers but doesn't rank as anywhere near either's best moment IMHO.

Got a few of the Initiations series but not 3 so cheers for tip-off.
