I don't have figures but it seems anal is making a little come back in US porn land.

Now that US superstars are anal friendly like Sasha Grey, Tori Black, Alexis Texas (in next Jay Sin's),Jenna Haze, Bree Oslon it seems that the current young crop is not as afraid of doing anal as they used to be.

I think a large reason why you have less anal in the US compared to elsewhere is that girls can still make money doing regular sex, stripping or modeling. The ratio of US newbies versus European Newbies doing anal early in their career must be a 1 to 10. Case in point. That White booty's dripping hot semen movie has 3 Americans and 2 European's and only Kristine Andrews is a newbie. Ashli Orion could be considered a semi-newbie to anal since she's only started doing anal this year.

She left the biz a few years ago and she never did anal while in it. If all she has is one anal scene on her site then no matter how little they charge to join. It would still be too much. Taylor left a couple of years ago and that's about the time when you started to see a drop in the number of anal scenes on dvd's. I don't know if it's because the asking price started to increase or what but it's true that there are significantly less anl now then a few years ago. The economy didn't help that.
