Xenomorgue wrote:1. EroDVD. The oldest and IMO still the best. Prices are sharp. Shipping is free. They have a good collection.
But not always in stock what they offer as "in stock".
Just got delivered only half of my order. And no idea when the back orders arrive.
Also e-mail communication about that seems difficult or not reliable.
Anyone with recent experiences?

You just think yourself lucky that you live in (mainland) Europe. At least you can buy porn DVDs easily.
Regards
Resident in UK and concerned about buying porn DVDs in that country!

I'm a UK resident and I've used ERODVD quite regularly for a couple of years now. It's true they sometimes have to back-order stuff, butit usually comes through in 2 weeks or so. No problems ordering from the UK, delivery is still free and I've found their customer service excellent.

I think ERODVD is really bad in communication and mixing dvd orders up too often.
Sometimes I wonder wheter they just try to send you another dvd than the one you ordered because the one you ordered is out of stock.
Getting this all fixed and receiving the full order is not that easy as they dont really communicate that fast.
I also dont like receiving just 50% of my order with no mail notice at all and no notice when the rest will arrive.
US-based Xonair.com is much much easier here! Just too bad they dont have the new 21 Sextury stuff.

I live in Belgium (under Holland

)
I've bought in the past some dvd's from erodvd and I have no complaints.
Also good experience with eroticals and shotsvideo
Shotsvideo is also worth trying it and you can find there 'rare' & 'older' dvd's.
Furthermore I use also dvddownload.nl (only for BE & NL)
And maybe termeulenpost.nl is also worth trying it

I recently had another bad experience ordering from Erodvd.
On 1 September 2009 I checked the Erodvd site late in the afternoon.
They had just updated the site and added some new Evil Angel titles.
Among these new Evil Angel titles was "Top Wet Girls 3".
Immediately I placed an order for TWG3 and transferred the money.
Later I received an email from Erodvd that my order was processing.
I thought everything was fine and expected to receive the DVD within
3-4 days, the standard delivery time for orders within the Netherlands.
However I did not receive my order. So I sent Aline at Customerservice
of Erodvd an email. She wrote back that shipment had not taken place,
since the title was out of stock. I reacted with surprise; I thought TWG3
was in stock and my order was among the first for that title !?
But no, Aline informed me that they had ordered only a few copies of
TWG3, and these had been shipped either to erotic shops (they are also
a supplier) or to other customers (they operate more than one website).
She announced that more TWG3 copies would arrive within a few days,
and then mine would be sent as soon as possible. Okay, I accepted.
Again nothing happened. Again I emailed Aline. She answered that the
Evil Angel shipment had been delayed. But she made the same promise.
I was fed up with the whole thing. I had hoped to receive the DVD within
a certain time period, and this was clearly no longer possible. So I decided
to cancel my order. I emailed Aline that I was disappointed with the way
Erodvd had messed up my order. This led to an angry reaction of Aline.
She claimed that it was not Erodvd's fault that my order had crashed, and
that my order cancellation led to extra administrative work and costs....
Looking back I am annoyed by two things:
1. While Erodvd has been expanding its enterprise (by supplying to shops
and by running more than one website), they still have this strategy
of ordering only a few copies of each new title. In the case of Evil Angel,
who has popular directors such Christoph Clark and Jay Sin, this seems
to me rather silly. In the case of TWG3 the title was SOLD OUT as soon
as it arrived. Amazingly they still added the title to the website. Without
the "NOT IN STOCK" warning. And so they invited orders from customers,
and they also accepted payment, whereas they already knew they could
not ship the title for the time being.....
2. As my order was pending, Erodvd decided not to inform me about the
problem. Why not? Too much trouble. They left it to me, to ask for info.
And then Aline provided vague (in fact: incorrect) information. She made
no effort to resolve the issue. Later on she became angry and claimed
that Erodvd has "Excellent Customer Service". It seems to me that this
should come down to more than just answering emails. Why not make
sure that the customer is informed about the delay, and why not make
an effort to handle the order within the guaranteed time, and if this is
not possible to look for a reasonable solution (for example: sending an
alternative title) so that the customer is satisfied?

I read about similar problems with EroDVD at other forums.
DVD are accessible to the order, but out of stock in warehouse.
Delay with delivery can be long. Some customers report that did not receive DVD's from order at all.
Same problem was described here

I live in Germany and i'm thinking of ordering from erodvd. Has anyone ever had their erodvd packages inspected and seized by German customs?

Above I described an earlier (September 2009) bad experience with EroDVD.nl.
In Januari 2011 I had another very bad experience with this shop.
I had placed an order for two bargain-priced DVDs at their website.
This order was online accepted, and the next day confirmed by email.
Alas, the products were never delivered, nor did I receive any information.
After several weeks I decided to contact Aline at EroDVD.
She told me both titles were sold out, and since re-ordering them
would be too much trouble for EroDVD, Aline CANCELLED my order.
And indeed, five minutes later I received a CANCELLATION email.
I responded to Aline, that we had a legally binding business transaction,
which could not be deliberately broken by one party for his convenience.
There are EU and Dutch consumer protection rights prohibiting such things !
Aline told me she did not care at all about such laws.
I then noticed that exactly the same two titles were still available at
EroDVD.nl, but now at the original full price. So if anyone orders the
title, EroDVD is very much willing to order the title and re-stock.
This completely undermined Aline's weak argument of "too much hassle".
I said to Aline: I really think it is time to settle this matter in an appropriate manner.
Aline said: Well okay, then we will re-order both titles and when we have them in stock,
I will contact you so we can settle the matter.
Of course, I have never heard from them again. Bastards !
