Good question cause it's an infelicitous attempt to derive a comparitive adjective from the older slang word, "savvy" or savey" meaning "street smarts" or "practical know-how", presumably from the French savoir. People now use the noun as an adjective so i suppose the comparitive would be "sav[v]ier" or maybe "more savvy" would be easier.

Anyway, i just meant that there are some pretty clever, bright young things in American porn these days, none more so than Ashli O, tho she's hardly well-known yet (began 08).

OK please let me expand on what i mean about Ashli Orion and other younger performers becoming more savvy.

There's a whole bunch of high-profile pornstars & starlets who are getting more into self-promotion on the internet, thus owning their own careers to a greater degree. Taking control of their sites whether pay or free. Getting into production & agency.

This is happening on both sides of the Atlantic. MySpace has become a virtual pornucopia, from superstars to to teenie wannabes. Stars are setting up free promotional sites (Scarlett Pain, Regina Ice).. They have VIP threads on EBI and dedicated Private sub-sites.

It's all good. What's not so good are the substandard working conditions, most especially the health risks that all pornographic actors/actresses face to varying degrees. Beyond that all sorts of abuse arise for which the women have no course of redress. (I am not blaming any specific individuals. I believe that most reputable producers, directors, agents etc are ethical enough. They know what their interests are and what is right & wrong.. They are professionals. But ...)

In fact, it's unconscienable that any workers anywhere in any industry (with the exception of prostitution, which is well beyond ..) should face, potentially, such unregulated personal exploitation as obtains in the adult entertainment industry.

Juliana Grandi, uniquely among eurobabes, has been very bold in speaking out. But she is not alone. In the States, the most articulate voice for some kind of basic legal rights & even unionization for porno actors is the well-known Sasha Grey. God bless nasty women!

[Edit: What i had to say about prostitution did not come off as i had intended. There is so potential for abuse etc inherent in many forms of that work that it's categorically different from porno as a profession. However, in a number of progressive European countries there is now a regulated legal environment in which to ply the trade (you euromenschen know better than me.) Even Nevada has a degree of legalized prostitution with mandatory testing etc.

I have no first hand experience with Europe east of Vienna but i have read a bit on prostitution in the Czech Republic (such as border ghost towns for visiting German clientele, the high demand for anal sex and kink like with pregnant girls, multiple partners, animals etc.) And tI wont even get into the whole topic of the human slave trade.. But it's the situation in places like Africa, India & SE Asia that really makes one despair... No that's normal in US porn today. Nearly all new girs in US porn refuse to do anal. I think that they earn enough money without it, so they decide not to do it.

There are so many hot new girls like Tori Black or Summer Verona for example, but girls like Missy Stone who do anal nearly from the beinning of her porn career are very rare today. And that's the big shit for me with US porn these days.
