I highly doubt that. The days that a performer could stay for even a year doing solo and g/g only content are over. There are simply not enough studios willing to regularly hire them for those women to survive on just that money. The only way a girl can limit herself to solo and g/g means that she has to get money from other ventures like stripping and escorting.
The big problem with both of those things is that they money they make with those enterprises can be better than what they were making in porn so why even bother. Not too mention that they doing a dance tour means you aren't available to shoot for porn studios and therefore they stop calling to book you.

That might be the case for the European scene but the US market is different. Well I don't have numbers bur there is a variety of girls performing solo and gg only to jump into bg after some time. They will tell you that they weren't comfortable doing bg at the beginning of their careers but this is planned business. And with that limitation to solo and gg they are able to promote and sell her bg start for big money.

Rumors were Brett Rossi for example got offers up to $25.000 for her 1st bg scene. Rumors were also, she shot her first scene for 5% of that amount to sign a contract with Digital Playground that didn't happen afterwards. So all in all the top class models that are willing to stay in biz for quite some time can easily live with that master plan.
